TEACHING

• Begin with a set of rules, agreed upon by students and instructors, to ensure an organized and respectful teaching and learning environment.
• Utilize many different teaching strategies to encompass varying learning styles.
• Make expectations clear.
• Set high, but achievable goals for students.
• Have the ability to adapt lessons to suit the needs of the students.

LEARNING

      All students have the right to a learning environment where they feel safe, comfortable, respected and most of all challenged. I believe a student who has this type of environment will push themselves to their highest potential and enjoy learning.
