A Brief History of our Chapter…
A group of Kappa Chapter Alumnae had been meeting informally for sometime when they decided to petition the National Offices of Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity for Women to be chartered as an official Alumnae Chapter. They were chartered as Iota Kappa of the XI-A Province on December 29th, 1933 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Since then we have become known as the Lincoln Alumnae/Patroness Chapter.
