Here is how the capacitor plates are made for my Tesla Coil. First you start with a roll of 12" x 200' aluminum foil from the grocery store. You then cut 130 18" long pieces out of this, I will need 800 of them this size. I made a jig out of plexiglas for folding them to a uniform width which is 7". They are then flattened and stacked in a box awaiting the next step which is to silicone them to a piece of plexiglas 10" x 10 - 5/8" x 1/8". I will need 1,600 pieces of plexiglas this size. For every one plate of aluminum you need 2 plates of plexiglas for the voltages that will be put to these capacitors.
