This is the new design that allows arc length of up to 20 feet with power levels at 15 - 20 KVA. This is the 3rd best improvement to the Tesla Coil that I have come across. It stabilizes the arcs and makes the coil tune in at one frequency making power levels rise. Presently I have no pictures of it in operation because the power levels are blowing the capacitors and I am rebuilding them. Notice the high voltage terminal has no protruding edges. This allows the voltage to build to a much higher level before forming an arc. Also pictured here is a gray circulating pump for the cooling oil, for the rotary spark gap.
