He owned and operated the Lone Branch Liquor Store which was a sponsor of tournaments for as many years as the club has been in existence.

Donnie is survived by his wife Alicia, the NCAA club secretary and treasurer, daughter Kim, sons Ken and Mike, and grandson Brandon.
