The Canadian Division of White Farm Equipment made the Jacobsen built garden tractors available to their dealerships. White's Canadian Division dealers had previously sold the "Morning Glory Blue" & "Misty White" tractors as were sold in the U. S.
Jacobsen had improved their line of tractors updating them by lengthening the wheel base, strengthening the frame, and other minor changes. As compared to other brands of garden tractors, the Jacobsen built tractor was high priced. The Canadian dealers felt that their customers did not have money for equipment of this type thus, few were ordered and sold.
These tractors are identical to the Oliver tractors with the exception of the paint color, the decals and, of course, the Product Identification Plate, that identfies it as "WHITE FARM EQUIPMENT, Division of White Motor Corporation, Brantford, Ontario, Canada." The model number is one digit off from the Oliver version and the serial number is in the same sequence as the Olivers.
The tractor was purchased in Canada in the spring of 2002. The tractor is a hydrostatic drive with the two speed transmission. It has the two pedal speed and direction control, allowing infinate speed selection. It is equipped with 9.5x12 rear tires. (The Oliver like model has 8.5x12 tires). It has the long right side exit horizontial muffler like the 145's, however this exhaust system was made available as a package later for the 105 & 125 models. The tractor also has the optional headlight, taillights & chrome front bumper.
This 125 has been shown at the Summer HPOCA show 2001 at Cedar Falls, IA & Pennfield, IL in 2003.
