This tractor's engine crankcase was cast in Charles City on October 6, 1958 & the transmission housing was cast on November 12, 1958. Assembly was completed on January 14, 1959, it's the 14th one built. It was built for "Stock" and was shipped to the Omaha Branch on January 27, 1959, then sold new near Topeka, KS. The tractor now is equiped with Belt Pulley, Three Point Hitch and Front Wheel Weights on an adjustable front axle. As it is now equipped, it weighs 4185 lbs.
Total production for the 660 was 1454, however 371 were Special build, thus 1083 were built as a tractor. Some late production were painted in Cockshutt colors for the Canadian market, however the Cockshutt tractors were built in very limited numbers.
