    The Oliver Town & Country model 125 is the 12 horsepower tractor in Oliver's garden tractor line.   It is powered by a single cylinder Cast Iron Kohler engine.   The model 125 could be purchased as either a gear drive or hydrostatic, the only Oliver model that offered the choice of transmissions.

    This tractor is a hydrostatic drive.   The hydrostatic unit provides infinately variable speeds.    Power flows from the hydroatatic unit through a 2 speed manual transmission/final drive.   Forward and reverse speed is controlled by foot pedals mounted on the RH floor panel.

    The 125 has a 15 amp 12 volt electrical system with safety lock starting system, an alternator and electric implement engagement with the filp of a switch.    Head and tail lights were available as an option, this tractor has that option.

     The standard implement lift is accomplished with a manual lever.   This tractor has an electric lift installed as an option.

    Two models of rotary mowers, in 42 and 50 inch cuts, an 40 inch rigid front blade, a 48 inch trip blade, rear mounted rotary tiller, a rear mounted weight box, a 40 inch snow auger and a two stage 40 inch snow thrower were also available.   Also available was dressup chrome hub caps.
