ABPA PRESIDENT - RICHARD KOENIG

Rich is employed by the State of Nebraska, Health and Human
Services, Regulation and Licensure Division. In his position as
Water Supply Specialist, Rich is responsible for the oversight of approximately 200 Public Water Systems.

Assist the Membership and the Board of Directors
in establishing ABPA as the Nationally recognized experts in the
field of Cross Connection Control and Backflow Prevention. |

| Provide all ABPA members the opportunity to become
personally involved in the Association. |

average consumer in understanding Cross Connection Control and
Backflow Prevention. |

| REGION 12 ABPA NEBRASKA DIRECTOR -
LEROY KRAMER |
| |
| Ervin "Leroy"
Kramer aka "Water Cop" is a Water Protection
Specialist II with the City of North Platte Nebraska Municipal
Light and Water. Leroy joined Municipal Light and Water as a
water crew member in 1979 and advanced to the service department
in 1982. He was promoted to Water Specialist II and designated
as the Cross-Connection Control Program Manager in 1991. Leroy
holds a Grade 1 and Grade 6 Water Operators License and a Grade
4 Wastewater Operators License.
Leroy has served in various
positions on the Region 12 ABPA Board of Directors and has the
distinction of serving on Region 12's Board of Directors the
longest time. Leroy is a charter member of the Western Nebraska
Chapter ABPA and still serves on their Board of Directors.

Butch has been involved in the HVAC and Plumbing industry for
22 years. He is a member of Local 464 Plumbers and Steamfitters
Union of Omaha Nebraska. He has been employed with Natkin
Service Company since 1989 and under new ownership as Johnson
Controls Inc. since May 2006, as
an HVAC Technician and
State of Nebraska Licensed Grade 6 Water
Operator.
Butch started Johnson Controls Inc. backflow and cross-connection
department in 1998 and it has expanded to four cross-connection technicians. Butch
is a current member of the Eastern Nebraska Chapter of
Backflow Prevention and has held many positions with the Chapter
- Board Director, Vice President and President. He is the
current Secretary.
