The birth was a smooth as silk. Susan was really apprehensive just before the surgery, but it turned out she had no idea they were even cutting her.

When Natalie arrived, all the nerves disappeared. It was just a great moment for us. I’m anxious to put a name on this child, and we’ve agreed that it will happen by tonight, so stop
back tomorrow for a name update. I’m on my way back to the hospital, as I’ve been running errands for 4 hours now, and I miss our newborn already.

Wow. MiniMe Number 2 is almost here. I must admit that there’s been a lot less nervousness about this one (on my part anyway). The
only emotion I’ve been feeling is excitement. Other than the possible (and hopefully short-term) negative results we may see from Jake, I
know that this new child is going to be another amazing experience in all of our lives. My thoughts of Number 2 always bring a slight smile
across my face. Becoming a father for the first time brought a lot more aprehesion, and the relaxed, peaceful anticipation of Number 2 is
something I’ll always remember about the development of this child.
Susan, on the other hand, has been somewhat more concerned about the arrival of Number 2. All I’ve got to do is show up and be a proud
papa tomorrow. Susan gets the slice and dice, as well as the 2 week recovery period. None the less, I have to believe, that the scheduled
C-Section will have to be a better deal than the 22 hours of labor, followed by the C-Section she endured last time around. We’ll know tomorrow, I guess. I’ll check back in then.
