  1. Minimize everything.
  2. Right click on a empty part of your desktop.
  3. Left click on Properties.(This will open the Display Properties.)
  4. Left click on the Settings tab if it's not already selected.
  5. Drag the slider in the Screen Resolution bar to 1024x768.
  6. Left click Apply.
  7. Left click Okay on the dialog box.
  8. Finally, left click Okay in the Display Properties window.
