TAIL ROTOR CONTROL SYSTEM

Pushing a pedal changes the pitch of the tail rotor resulting in directional control and is used to pivot the helicopter on it's own vertical axis and trim the helicopter in flight. A pedal adjuster is provided to adjust the pedal distance for individual comfort. Heel rests are provided for the gunner to prevent inadvertent pedal operation.
