The fuel control assembly is mounted on the left side of the engine. This unit is controlled by the pilot or gunner throttle and GOV switch. The assembly consists of a metering section, a computer section, and an overspeed governor. The metering section pumps fuel to the engine. The computer section determines the rate of fuel delivery. The overspeed governor maintains a constant N2 rpm.
