Mont Saint Michel

Here is the Abbey and town in its entirety. It was quite the impressive edifice. The top part is the abbey with the cathedral and monastery. This view is taken from the levee which is the only link with the mainland. At normal tide levels, this is a road, but during storms it can be completely covered.
