This clock, ca. 1700, has 360 small faces corresponding to the Earth's 360 meridians. Each is labeled with the name of a city or country. The central, larger dial, is intended to show the time in Dresden, Germany. Unlike most clocks, the faces are numbered for 24-hour, rather than 12-hour, time.
