I'm no longer working with Quake, but my files remain here for some
length of time.
If you wish to develop any of my mods further, you may do so according
to the Gnu Public License
(Copyleft). In short, if you modify and distribute your
modification, you must release source as well. So, no sourceless
distributions of work derived from my Quake sources.
Quake stuff
- A progs.dat produced from
QuakeCustom with all features enabled.
- Rotating platform code here,
or a short description. (If you got the copy
without progs.src, that file is now here.)
- QuakeCustom 2.0 Beta 1, an easy
method to mix and match QuakeC mods. It's much more capable than 1.0.
There's also documentation describing QuakeCustom, and a
description of my experience installing Python on
a DOS machine.
- QuakeCustom, an easy
method to mix and match QuakeC mods. There's also documentation describing QuakeCustom, and a
description of my experience installing Python on
a DOS machine. A small change was made in qcustom.py so that it
works on DOS machines that think all names are uppercase.
- GLQuake 0.3, massaged and chopped
to compile on Linux with Mesa 2.0. Read more about GLQuake at Ed Hutchins' page at SGI.
- Items exchange in a non-silly manner; For deathmatch and
a text file about it.
- Items hop around; For deathmatch and
a text file about it.
- My Friendly Monster patch for Quake and a text file about it.
- My Soul Swap patch for Quake and a text file about it.
- My morph patch for Quake and a text file about it.
- My flashlt patch for Quake and a text file about it.
- Kill zombies with axe. Patch for Quake
and a text file about it.
- Extra Weapons Modular System, a
system for allocating impulses and adding new weapons in a modular
fashion. Includes a hexen-like lightning bolt, an ugly "flame bolt",
and a quick copy of the nailgun Quakec and ANSI C source and
a text file with some more information.
This is outdated by QuakeCustom, an even easier way to combine
QuakeC modifications.
