Hi. I cooked up this 'rotating platform' code back in december. I just heard that some TC is doing something for rotating brushes, but that it's sourceless. I'm sharing this code to spark discussion, and give people some ideas till the TC's code is reverse engineered. The code is derived from my QuakeCustom base, and doesn't have items/monsters/etc--Look how small that progs.dat is!. You don't need to have QuakeCustom or Python to compile it, though, as all necessary .qc source and a progs.dat are included. The interesting stuff is in test/rotate.qc. You can have the file from http://incolor.inetnebr.com/jepler/quake/rotate.zip you're invited to look at all my QuakeC work at http://incolor.inetnebr.com/jepler/quake/ Enjoy! Jeff jepler@inetnebr.com
