Meeting held on Oct 20, 2005

NEXT REUNION COMMITTEE MEETING:

Date to Be Announced - Most likely after the first of the year in February 2006.

The special committee in charge of the Les Franklin and Fallen Links Memorial will try to get together again this year.

Meeting Report:

Attending: Jim Atkins, Bruce Anderson, Cheryl Steckleberg, Virgie Ward, Marcia Greve, Ken Gates, Marylouise Dean.

The reunion committee met at Ken Gates’ home for the purpose of stuffing envelopes and sticking stamps for the ‘all classmate letter’. In the mailing we included a cover letter and copies of the most recent updated database for classmate’s mailing info. Next Reunion Date!!

Marylouise Dean suggested that we begin to recognize our ‘Fallen Links’ by creating a large size poster board with photos. We all agreed to proceed with this project and hopefully have it completed by the ‘Let’s Have Lunch’ gathering on November 19^th. Marylouise was given the title of President of the Project to spearhead this idea. Ken and others offered to help.

We should begin to discuss our next 5 Year reunion – 2008 - and special activities during the ‘off’ years. Anybody up for going to Las Vegas?! Or a cruise, or wherever? IDEAS PLEASE! This kind of a special trip doesn’t have to take the place of a Lincoln reunion but could be scheduled at a different time and off-season for better rates wherever. Are there any of our reunion committee folks who have experience in arranging this type of event?
