The Jack Kirby Jams

Several of the participants in the Jack Kirby Internet Mailing list (see the Links page) decided a while back to use our own artistic talents to pay tribute to the works of the King of the Comics. We eventually settled on two themes: the "Meta-Kirby Jam," in which all the characters from the entire span of Kirby's long career would be fair game; and the "Eternals Jam," continuing Jack's epic tale of gods, men and monsters.

A third jam, featuring Jack's creator-owned "Captain Victory," is currently underway as well, scripted by Shane Foley. I was privileged to be allowed to ink five terrific pages by the great Joe Zierman -- published artist of Big Bang comics -- which you can see by clicking here!
