Ex-Felon Voting Rights in Nebraska

The United States Constitution, aside from prohibiting disenfranchisement on grounds such as age, gender, and race, U.S. Const. amend. XV, XIX, XXVI, provides that qualifications for voting in federal elections are determined by state law.

In the State of Nebraska, a new law went into effect on September 4, 2005, that gives the right to vote to most ex-felons in Nebraska.
