Implementation of Nebraska’s Pastoral Excellence Project will begin the first of March. Pastors, Lay Ministers, Chaplains, and Interims are all invited to Celebrating…. Claiming…and Clarifying our Calling to be held in North Platte and Schuyler. All expense for this gathering are covered by the project. Reservations are due by February 10th.

In addition to these keynoters, the gathering will provide an introduction to the Pastoral Excellence Project and offer information as to how you can take advantage of the generous opporutnity the grant provides for pursuing your continuing education interests.
Open without cost to all active called Pastors, Lay Ministers, Chaplains, and Interims serving in the Nebraska Conference of the United Church of Christ and The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Nebraska.

All expenses for this event, including a 14 cent per mile reimbursement for travel, are covered if you are serving in a called position either in the Nebraska Conference of the United Church of Christ or the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Nebraska. This includes Pastors, Associate Pastors, Lay Ministers, Interim Pastors, and Chaplains.

Hunter is pastor of the Evergreen Christian Church in Evergreen, Colorado, and Retreat Director at A Mountain Retreat (an ecumenical retreat center devoted to the care and continuing education of pastors). He is the author of four books and is a contributor to The New Dictionary of Pastoral Care. |

| The Rev. Maren C. Tirabassi is a liturgical writer and poet who has served six United Church of Christ Congregations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire over the last twenty-three years. Maren is the author or editor of eight books, including Touch Holiness, The Depth of Wells, Blessing New Voices, and Faith Made Visible. The previous Poet Laureate of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, she teaches in a wide variety of settings and focuses now on conference, retreat and workshop ministries while caring for older family members. |
