I have always been intrigued by mythology, primarily Greek, Roman and Egyptian. Living in Greece for almost six years, on Crete and in Athens, contributed to this fascination. When I decided to concentrate exclusively on sculpture, this interest was rekindled. I like to explore the characters, myths and legends of different cultures and interpret or reinterpret the figures, ideas and stories from their various mythologies. Although the majority of my work is figurative and completed in bronze, using the lost wax method, I have also worked in aluminum, steel and wood.  I usually work directly in wax or from a simple plaster waste mold.  I rarely make more than one version of a sculpture.  But, sometimes, I just like to make things that are shiny.

I have works in Sydney, Australia;  Norway, Sacramento,  New York,  Milwaukee, Tupelo, Cleveland, and Omaha, Lincoln, and Alma, Nebraska.

I currently am a member of the Artists' Cooperative Gallery in Omaha's Old Market and also have works at Heller's Art Images, The Louisville Art Gallery and The Burkholder Project.
