St. Mary's Catholic church was founded in 1878. Their church located at 703 Swartzendruber Drive in Shickley was built in 1984 There are 52 families that belong to this parish. Serving this Parish is Msgr. Ivan Vap. Mass is at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Activities include C.C.D. classes, Altar Society, and CYO and Knights of Columbus.
