"Shickley"
The 2002 Christmas ornament features a design recognizing the landmarks and activities that represent the village of Shickley.
The Shickley ornament is the seventh in a series of nine. The Fillmore County ornament which featured the Fillmore County Courthouse, was the inaugural ornament in 1995, followed by the Strang ornament in 1996, the Ohiowa ornament in 1997, the Fairmont ornament in 1998, the Exeter ornament in 1999, and the Milligan ornament in 2001. Future ornaments will feature a landmark, structure, or symbol unique to each of the remaining two communities of Fillmore County. The pewter ornaments are dated and numbered. The series of nine ornaments will end in 2004.
