This student enjoys working on the computer and struggles with reading comprehension. The continuous visual cues, provided by the computer, are a powerful tool in enhancing comprehension. The sounds on the computer also help the student stay engaged in the activity. These activities will lead into the future lessons about nutrition.

Procedure
Review the Food Guide Pyramid made on the previous day.
Have the student access the Internet.
Have the student select a game to play or an activity.
Guide the student through the different activities that all relate to the Food Guide Pyramid fruits and vegetables sections.
Assessment
Teacher observation of the student while they work.
Print outs of the different activities.
Adaptations
Pick specific activities for the student to complete.
Have the student state the item before they clicked on it, to prevent them from clicking on everything trying to find the right answers.
