| Southwick Sewer and Drain encourages all home
owners to remember that preventive maintenance is the best way to keep
your septic system working properly. It is recommended that you have
your system pumped every two to
five years, depending on family size and usage.
One critical consideration for choosing a pumper is service.
During the pumping of your system, we also service your system.
Wastewater is pumped through the manhole or access
port so that it can be sufficiently cleaned and any problems detected.
During the pumping process, wastewater is backflushed into the tank
to loosen up materials and then pumped again. This ensures completely
pumping all waste from the tank.
Baffles and tees are inspected to ensure they are in place, in good
working condition, and unobstructed.
Septage is disposed according to local codes and requirements.
While servicing your system we will look for signs of failure or any
other potential problems.
