| A lagoon is also known as a waste stabilization
pond. The function of a lagoon is to act as a pond into which raw
sewage (household waste) is discharged.
If the soil on your lot does not percolate, then a lagoon system will be required. Sewage lagoons do not need to be pumped like a septic system, however the home owner is still responsible for maintenance. |
