tiR's Vintage Computers
I grew up in the 1980's with all of the fabulous varieties of home computers vying for
market dominance. Now of course, computers are commodity items, and really have no
character. That is why I collect this so-called "vintage" computers. Each of these
machines are unique, and have their own personality. They are, for the most part, fun
to use. It never amazes me at how much performance could be crammed into 128, 64, 48,
or even 16k of memory. So here it is, after long last: tiR's Vintage Computer Page!
Actually, since I have so many photos, I've divided it up into tiR's Vintage Computer
Pages!
And the rest...
TRS-80 Model II
With expansion kit, adding two 8 inch floppy drives. The right most bay is empty in case
I want to add another drive ;) It runs TRS-DOS or CP/M, and has a 48 character black
and white screen. It makes some great clunking and whirring real hardware noises.
