Riding Switzerland in 2005
PAGE 3 - Rheinfalls, Swartzwald, and back to the Alps
The next day, we pointed our noses north to the Schwartzwald region of Germany. We'd heard tails of many wondrous curves. On the way, a short stop at the Rhein Falls, Europe's greatest water fall.

The tails were true, the roads were good. Much like the Black Hills of South Dakota. It rained constantly from the time we left Rheinfalls, so I was not inspired to stop and take many photographs, only this one that I snapped of Kelly resting under the cover of an old garage. There were many motos frolicking in the Black Forest that day, in spite of the weather.

The next morning, once again, we set our sites on the Alps. A short break was required to fashion a visual nav-aid to supplement the GPS, as I was too cheap to buy the detailed Europe database from Garmin. Now south to the Swiss Alps.

And they were good.

And the skies were clear.

And there was much rejoicing.

A small trail appeared leading into the timber. We decided to let the baby GS's have their dirty fun.

We found ourselves here, in the palm of God's hand.
