Bookshop

Links

The bookshop is located in the Fireside Room on the north side, near the entry doors. Our intent is to provide church members, guests, and visitors with a wide variety of books related to theology (in the broadest sense) and to environmental and social concerns. In addition, we maintain a wide selection of donated used books, which are steeply discounted from list prices.

Our official bookshop policy is to discount most new books 10% off list price. Exceptions are:

  • Singing the Living Tradition (hymnal).
  • Sale Books.
  • Books self-published by members of the congregation.

We can special-order books for you, but please be patient. Special orders can often take several weeks.

We greatly encourage you to contribute your surplus books to the bookshop.

A Note from Ila Boettcher, Bookseller

Thank you to those who have contributed to the bookshop. Our best sellers are newer publications of paperback fiction, hardback fiction, and self-help nonfiction. Old books are not favorites, although classics can be popular at times.

Please do not bring condensed books, textbooks, or out-of-date instructional manuals.

We can always use children's books.

There are storage boxes on the floor of the bookshop area for your donations.

Stop by and pick out a title for yourself.
