Hickman man out of hospital 13 days after crash

By Mark Mahoney

A Hickman man was no longer at a Lincoln hospital Tuesday, 13 days after he and another man were involved in a truck crash.

William Keech, 53, of Hickman, was no longer at BryanLGH Medical Center West Tuesday. On May 7, Keech was driving a Schwan’s frozen foods truck west on Old Cheney Road when he lost control of the vehicle on a washboard near South 162nd Street, according to sheriff’s reports. He couldn’t correct the truck’s movement in time before it went into a ditch south of the road and rolled.
