A rural Martell womans
garage along West Roca Road was burglarized sometime between 4:30 p.m. June 11 and 1 p.m.
June 14.
The 75-year-old woman reported that on June 12, she found the unlocked
side door of her detached garage and a door to her vehicle open, according to
sheriffs reports. She did not call the sheriffs office at the time.
Two days later, her 56-year-old son from Lincoln discovered a wrench
missing from the garage and that it was used to remove 80 gallons of gasoline from a
storage tank located to the north of the garage, according to sheriffs reports. The
total loss was estimated at $308. There are no suspects.
