Rural Hickman
woman loses gold rings

By Mark Mahoney

A rural Hickman woman lost two gold rings around 7 a.m. June 19.

The 46-year-old woman reported that while she was tearing down rain gutters at her house on June 19, she took off two gold rings, which she then lost, according to sheriff’s reports. She thought she left them either on a grill or picnic table, according to sheriff’s reports, but when she went outside to get them around 9 p.m., she couldn’t find them.

The woman spent a week looking for the rings before she called the sheriff’s office, according to sheriff’s reports. One is a gold wedding ring with five small diamonds, while the other is a women’s gold nugget ring. The total loss of the two rings is estimated at $380.
