Semi-tractor accident

There was an accident between a semi-tractor and a Toyota Avalon on Thursday, July 31. According to the Gage County Sheriff’s office, the semi-tractor was traveling south on S. 134th Rd. near Adams. As the semi-tractor approached the intersection with E. Ash Rd., the Toyota approached the intersection from the east, striking the semi-tractor. The semi-tractor jack-knifed, and came to rest in the west ditch. The Toyota also stopped in the west ditch. The driver of the semi-tractor, Marion Mackeprang, 54, was not injured. The driver of the Toyota, Douglas Rix, 82, was transported to BryanLGH West by Lincoln Star Care V helicopter with neck, shoulder and arm injuries.
