Ricahrd E. Carter

He was born March 4, 1939, in Lincoln to Willard Carter and Viola Childs.

Served in the Air Force, and worked multiple careers as a welder, truck driver for Tuet Trucking, Salem Trucking and Gana Trucking. Also worked at the Alpo/Friskies plant and more.

Avid hunter and fisherman. Loved his family, friends and the great outdoors. Will be missed by his hunting and fishing buddies and numerous friends and co-workers.

Survived by: sons and daughters-in-law, Sallie (Carter) and Kirby Wendelin, Martell, Kellie (Carter) and Lyle Quackenbush, Orford, New Hampshire; stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, numerous brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: wife, Francine (Badousec/Jarvis) Carter; father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Carter; mother, Viola (Smith) Childs, stepfather, Raymond Childs; brothers, Michael Ray and Roger Lee Childs; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Glenn Pumel and Nancy and Ted Mattox.
