Lloyd W. Drent

Lloyd W. Drent, 89, Hickman, died Thursday, September 4, 2008, in Hickman. Born to Martin and Sarah (Liesveld) Drent on March 14, 1919, in Hickman.

Survived by: wife, Lois (Hartzell) Dren; children and spouses, Alan and Roberta Drent, Connie and Ron Bird, Cynthia and Dan Dallmann, Myron and Krista Drent; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Drent; sister, Jean Boesiger.

Preceded in death by: son, Laurin Drent.

Services were held on Monday, September 8, at the Christ Community Church in Beatrice. There was a private inurnment at Lincoln Memorial Park. Family requests memorials in lieu of flowers in care of Lois Drent for charitable contribution.
