Kenneth R. LiggettKenneth Rhodes Liggett, 65, Bennet, died Monday, July 21, 2008. Born January 20, 1943, in Davenport, Iowa, to Kenneth W. and Doris A. (Gowan) Liggett; he grew up on a farm near Galesburg, Illinois.Graduated from Union College in 1965 and achieved a Master’s and Doctorate in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Established a private practice in clinical psychology in Lincoln and maintained it for 30 years. Founding member of the Samaritan Counseling Center and served on the Nebraska Board of Examiners of Psychologists. Survived by: wife, Charlotte; sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Eldin Ehrlich; half-brother, Greg Liggett; and half-sister, Kandy Harrison. Services were held Saturday, July 26, at First-Plymouth Congregational Church, 20th and D Street. Memorials to the American Diabetic Association; Saint Elizabeth Foundation; and The Cat House.
