Ultimate Sound PS65 6.5" Platinum Series Component Set
Platinum Series Components are new from the ground up. The 12 dB/octave
crossover networks, with ± 2 dB of tweeter level adjustment, are
carefully tuned to match the diamond plated titanium swivel tweeters and
HEATT™ (High Efficiency Accelerated Thermal Transfer) Technology
butyl surround mid-woofers. HEATT™ Technology bonds a layer of nickel
to an Injection Molded Cone. This combination of strength and rigidity
of the nickel layer with the damping properties of the molded cone means
that Platinum Series speakers don't suffer from the power compression,
doubling or other types of distortion that plague many other types of
speakers. The specially designed tweeter has a lower resonance than most
automotive tweeters to blend more smoothly with the mid-woofer and bring
the music to life. Both systems include grills, speaker wire and mounting
hardware.
