This Platinum Series full range driver features a HEATT™ Technology
butyl surround mid-woofer and a Ferrofluid cooled titanium midrange and
tweeter. HEATT™ (High Efficiency Accelerated Thermal Transfer) Technology
bonds a layer of nickel to an Injection Molded Cone. This combination
of strength and rigidity of the nickel layer with the damping properties
of the molded cone means that Platinum Series speakers don't suffer from
the power compression, doubling or other types of distortion that plague
many other types of speakers. Includes grills, speaker wire and mounting
hardware.
